Pocket watch: extremely rare Vacheron & Constantin Geneve Ankerchronometer with special chronograph with production counter/number of pieces register, specially made for Mascort & Bonturi Buenos Aires, 1905, with extract from the archives and original box: Ca. Ø51mm, ca. 115g, 18K pink gold, case number 201612, dome marked "Fabrication Speciale pour Mascort & Bonturi", top class Ankerchronometer, No.333118, especially large chronometer balance, special and highly refined chronograph with polished and bevelled steel parts, perfectly preserved, extremely rare enamel dial with red production counter, pink gold hands, in working order and in very good condition. The watch was ordered by the V & C agent Carassale and was a special order for Mascort & Bonturi. Mascort & Bonturi was a fashionable fine clothing shop in Buenos Aires. Chronographs with production counters are extremely rare. We know of no other Vacheron & Constantin chronograph with this dial. The indication on the dome shows that it was a special production for the man's outfitter, to measure the number of pieces in certain production runs. The counter starts with 90 and ends with 12, which means 12 pieces per minute. The division is accurate to 1/5th of a second! The extract from the archives confirms the engraving and suggests that it is probably a unique piece!

Die Uhr wurde bestellt von dem V & C Agenten Carassale und war ein Spezialauftrag für Mascort & Bonturi. Mascort & Bonturi war ein angesagtes Geschäft für edle Kleidung in Buenos Aires. Chronographen mit Produktionszähler sind extrem selten. Uns ist kein weiterer Vacheron & Constantin Chronograph mit diesem Zifferblatt bekannt. Der Hinweis auf dem Staubdeckel zeigt, dass es sich um eine Spezialanfertigung für den Herrenausstatter handelt, zur Messung der Stückzahl bei bestimmten Fertigungsabläufen. Der Zähler beginnt mit 90 und endet mit 12, was 12 Stück pro Minute bedeutet. Die Einteilung ist auf 1/5-Sekunde genau! Der Stammbuchauszug bestätigt die Gravur und lässt darauf deuten, dass es vermutlich ein Unikat ist!
