1909-S $20 MS64+ PCGS. VP-002. Repunched Mintmark. The mintmark is repunched on this piece, although it is not the FS-501 Cherrypickers' variety. NGC lists it as VP-002. The secondary S is punch southwest of the primary mintmark and is tilted right by comparison. The coin displays satiny orange-gold luster and is boldly struck, with minimal surface marks for the grade. The Plus designation is well suited to this coin. From The William K.
