A pair of teak 'Compass' armchairs, 1955-56, designed by Pierre Jeanneret (1896-1967) for Chandigarh, each with a teak frame, seat and back, recently upholstered in tufted wool fabric, 58cm wide 80cm deep 86cm high, seat 38cm high (2) Condition Report Upholstery good overall. Some knocks - one of the supports has a split to the leg. Both structurally sound.
