Oil on canvas. On the frame in the upper left corner is the label of the Maison de transport "Chenue" (Paris). A report by Dominique Brême (Former director of the Château de Sceaux) dated May 19, 2025 is attached. This work is related to a larger one kept in a private Parisian collection published by Georges De Lastic in L'Oeil, No. 323, June 1982, p. 30. repr. p. 27. In the arms of the model is the little Louis de Bourbon, second Duke of Brittany and Dauphin of France (1707-1712).
