Nürnberg. Free City gold 2 Ducat ND (c. 1700)-GFN UNC Details (Cleaned) NGC, Strothotte-1700-15, Fr-1882, Kellner-51. By Georg Friedrich Nurnberger. The larger denominations of the Paschal Lamb / New Century gold issues are much more scarce than the small, fractional-denominations. This double Ducat example shows some hairlines from a light, past cleaning but the partial luster and an appreciable olive-gold patina make for a wholesome display.
