A Diamond Brooch/Pendant, an oval old cut diamond within a border of smaller old cut diamonds in white collet and claw settings, to a shaped frame set throughout with old cut diamonds suspending graduated diamond set kite shaped drops, with a hinged diamond set bail on a fine figaro link chain, total estimated diamond weight 6.25 carat approximately, measures 7cm by 3cm, chain length 43cm, in a fitted Garrard & Co Ltd case see illustration NB: One pendant drop deficientNone pendant drop is deficient. The brooch is in good condition. It fastens with a pin and c-hook which is removeable by a screw fitting (not present). The bail is attached by a hook to a hinged arm and can be removed and the arm folded back. The pendant drops attach by use of hooks. It is not hallmarked or stamped but in our opinion would test as gold. The principle diamond measures 8.50mm x 7.00mm x 3.26mm = 1.25 carat approximately. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour H/I, clarity VS2/SI1. Gross weight 17.2 grams. Condition Report made 11th April 2017.
