Its engine and front seat were mounted nine inches further forward than that of its predecessor, the York Sixteen. The chassis was also extended by three inches, giving plenty more passenger space. This example appears to be very original and presents very well, having been in a heated garage for many years.It was previously sold in our last auction and described as needing a recommission after being stood for a period of time. The current vendor purchased the car, then proceeded to do exactly that. Although the bodywork remains as before, it’s in good solid condition with some imperfections, the mechanicals have been overhauled to ensure the car runs and drives reliably. It would look at home at a show or used as a working classic.
