[Révolution] Collection of 2 libels against the representative André Dumont. All bound in modern bradel boards, substantially 20.5 by 13 cm. Perfect condition:

Violent libel against André Dumont, who had just published his famous account. During the Terror, Dumont had him and his brother Marie-Joseph arrested. They were saved by the 9th Thermidor.
In this vengeful libel, Louis-Sauveur gives a list of 58 of Dumont's victims: "Innocents of both sexes, arrested by order of the Ogre Dumont, delivered by him to the revolutionary courts of Paris, Arras and others, and died on the scaffold." (Legrand).
