Pocket watch: historically important lepine with duplex movement and repeater, Patek Philippe No.696 from 1842

Ø48mm, approx. 72g, 18K gold, case and movement with matching number 696, dome signed Patek & Czapek a Geneve, exquisite duplex movement, temperature compensation, quarter-hour repeater, perfectly preserved enamel dial, Breguet steel hands, intact and in very good condition. The extract from the archives confirms the originality of this rarity. This is one of the earliest Patek Philippe pocket watches with a complication, from the early years of the company when it was still signed Patek & Czapek.
