TWO LANDSCAPE PAINTINGS AFTER QIAN WEICHENG (1720-1772)

Ink and colors on silk, mounted as hanging scrolls. Two (no. 2 and no. 4) from a set of four hanging scrolls. Impressive landscape of southwest China with steep mountains and rocks in elegant green color, partly covered with pine trees. In the valley there is a scholar's studio and huts by the water. Each signed: "respectfully painted by Courtier Qian Weicheng". Two seals: "chen Weicheng", "gong hui". Each with a long commentary above, signed "Xiangshu laoren", "Xiangshu Qian Chenqun" and three seals. Each with four collector's seals.

Tusche und Farben auf Seide, als Hängerolle montiert. Zwei (Nr. 2 und Nr. 4) aus 4er-Satz Hängerollen. Eindrückliche Landschaft Südwest-Chinas mit steil aufragenden Bergen und Felsen in eleganter grüner Farbe, teils bedeckt mit Kiefern. Im Tal Gelehrtenstudio bzw. Hütten am Gewässer. Jeweils Signatur: "respektvoll gemalt vom Höfling Qian Weicheng". Zwei Siegel: "chen Weicheng", "gong hui". Oberhalb der Malerei jeweils ein langer Kommentar, signiert "Xiangshu laoren", "Xiangshu Qian Chenqun" und drei Siegel. Jeweils vier Sammlersiegel.
