Emile Gaudissart (1872-1957) was a painter, sculptor and architect-decorator. He joined the Société des Artistes Français in 1906. He designed carpets and tapestries for Ruhlmann, including some for the boudoir de l\'hôtel du collectionneur in the 1925 Exhibition and he worked for several textile manufacturers
