One volume in-4, full caramel morocco, top board decorated with a mosaic composition in gray box enhanced with gold, inner frame decorated with a double gilt fillet and a listel in gray box, suede lining and endpapers, double endpapers, gilt edges, flap folder and slipcase (binding signed Françoise LÉVY-BAUER).

Original French edition illustrated with 2 etchings and 5 lithographs by Marc CHAGALL, including the color cover.

Limited edition of 200 copies, this one of 150 on Rives vellum.

A very fine copy in a luxurious, perfectly established mosaic binding, with the same decoration as the publisher's dust jacket.
