João Prince Regent 960 Reis 1816-M AU53 NGC, Minas Gerais mint, KM307.2, LMB-439. A very rare issue in the Brazilian 960 Reis series, struck during only two years (1810 and 1816) with the "M" mintmark, indicating production at the Minas Gerais mint. The finest example of the issue certified by NGC, endowed with a balanced steel-hued patina over underlying luster. Overstruck on a "Bust" 8 Reales of an unknown date.
