Possibly created for a special ritual. Spherical central piece, each surrounded by a string of pearls. The four opposing clasps are based on a row of eight lotus leaves each. Above them are four carefully modelled macara heads, each with clasps emerging from their mouths. These touch the square central axis. Ritual showpiece for the altar. Gilt bronze. Weight 584 gr.

Kugelförmiges Mittelstück, jeweils umgeben von einer Perlenkette. Die vier gegenüberliegenden Spangen basieren auf einer Reihe von jeweils acht Lotosblättern. Darüber befinden sich vier sorgfältig modellierte Makaraköpfe, aus deren Mündern jeweils eine Spange herausragt. Diese berühren die quadratische Mittelachse. Rituelles Prunkstück für den Altar. Vergoldete Bronze. Gewicht: 584 gr.
