Indian Cents 1886 1C Type Two MS66+ Red PCGS. CAC. Eagle

Indian Cents
1886 1C Type Two MS66+ Red PCGS. CAC. Eagle Eye Photo Seal, card included. The lowest headdress feather points between CA in AMERICA. Rick Snow calls the 1886 Type Two cent "one of the tougher dates in all grades," adding that "Full red gems are still very rare" despite a couple of groups of high-grade examples hitting the market during the 1980s and 1990s. This MS66 Red cent is among six submissions at PCGS and a single example at NGC in this numeric grade, and it is the only one of them with a Plus designation. None are graded higher.
Boldly struck motifs stand out against the copper-orange surfaces of this clean Premium Gem. One tick on the cheek appears to be the only post-Mint imperfection. Phenomenal quality. Population: 6 in 66 (1 in 66+) Red, 0 finer. CAC: 4 in 66, 0 finer (1/25).
