FAMÍLIA REAL E NOBREZA Álbum de fotografias.- Século XIX (ca. 1860-1880).- 15 f. [80 fotogr.]; 30 cm.- E., Album composed of 15 double sheets, with frames (windows) for 120 images, of which only 80 are filled. The photographic images (photographs and some photogravures) are of the carte de visite type (± 105x60 mm). A large part represents members of the royal family, namely D. Maria II, D. Fernando II, D. Pedro V, D. Estefânia, D. Luís I and D. Maria Pia, in addition to some children who are difficult to identify. Others depict personalities of the time, such as the Marquis of Sá da Bandeira, Fontes Pereira de Melo, Counts of Castro, Count of Ávila, King of Greece, etc. Photographic studios identified: Alfred Fillon, António da Fonseca, A. J. Oliveira, Photographia Universal, J. Plessix, R. P. M. Bastos, J. C. da Rocha, Camacho e Loureiro (Lisbon); Talbot, Henrique Nunes e Almada (Porto); Jacques Wunderli (Switzerland and Portugal?); Vuagnat and A. Garcin (Geneva); Disderi (Paris); J. Laurent (Madrid); Fratelli Alinari (Florence). Robust contemporary binding, fully morocco, slightly worn, missing the metal clasps.
