A GROUP OF FOUR AUSTRIAN/GERMAN MINIATURE GILT METAL AND PLUM GROUND ENAMEL WARES, EARLY 20TH CENTURY, comprising a Rococo style side chair with high cushion form back, centering a grisaille painted 18th century youth, on a conforming cushion seat enclosing an 18th century maiden with arm raised while curtsying, raised on "C" scroll legs, height: 2 3/4"; a Rococo Revival style gilt metal boudoir clock, with a cast metal asymmetrical frame of stylized "C" scrolled rocaille, enclosing a circular dial with blue Roman chapters and blued steel hands, encircled by a painted cherub tossing a tapering floral garland above fluttering birds and a seated courting couple, on a star hexagon ground, height: 4 1/8"; a clock dial faced box form tape measure, with a shaped carrying handle, stamped, "GERMANY," height: 1 1/4"; a rectangular guilloché enameled sterling silver compact, with hinged lid centering an intricately painted scene of a seated peasant youth holding a maiden shepherdess in his arms, amidst a romantic landscape and bordered by delicately engraved scrolling foliage, signed, "Tschiedel," opening to a silver gilt interior enclosing stamped, "MADE IN AUSTRIA," over a shaped hallmark of "AK / 935" and "118 / STERLING SILVER," framed by angled panels, reversing to a radiating pattern underside, width: 2 1/4", depth: 2 1/4".
