Of flat-backed lobed baluster form with a flaring neck flanked by 'bat' handles, all supported on a simulated giltwood stand, vibrantly enamelled with a pair of confronted phoenix clasping long lotus stems in their mounts supporting a large central lotus flower with further intertwined leafy stems, and a musical stone to the neck, with a ruyi-head border at the neck and lotus lappets at the base, all on a turquoise ground, with a blue classic-scroll border at the foot, the reverse and interior glazed turquoise.
