Pocket watch: the most complicated Ulysse Nardin from the 19th century known to us, with archive information: Ca. Ø 59.5mm, ca. 199g, 18k gold, engine-turned, case and movement matching number 8457, dome signed Grand Prix Paris 1889 Ulysse Nardin, glazed movement, a masterpiece of Swiss watchmaking, probably Victorin Piguet caliber, 9 complications, perpetual calendar, moon phase and moon age, minute repeater, chronograph rattrapante, perfectly preserved enamel dial, original hands, excellent condition, in working order. It is probably one of only 3! of these watches that Ulysse Nardin produced and sold in the 19th century, probably exhibited and awarded at the world exhibition in Paris in 1889, according to archive information sold in 1892.
