The canvas does not appear to be relined. Some surface dirt and general discolouration of the varnish. A hole of approximately 4 cm with corresponding paint loss by the feet of the second figure from the left, as well as a hole of approximately 2 cm by the figure's left elbow. A vertical tear of approximately 8 cm in the sky upper right, as well as hook shaped tear of approximately 7 cm in the waist of the woman on the right. Areas of paint loss around the edges, resulting from contact with the frame, as well as a few other small areas of paint loss across the canvas. Inspection under UV light reveals significant retouched craquelure (mainly in the sky), as well as four larger retouches in the sky and one in the corner lower left. Condition Report Disclaimer
