Bahamas 1965 P-24a PMG Choice UNC 64 50 Dollars
Bahamas 1965 P-24a PMG Choice UNC 64 50 Dollars
The decimal series of the Bahamas was introduced in 1965 and consisted of notes ranging from $1/2 to $100. No higher denominations have been issued since that time. As such, the $50 denomination is the second highest denomination issued in the Bahamas. So rarely does this type present itself, and that is doubly true for high grade examples. Most high grade example of this date are low serial numbers, which were sold to collectors, although those are by far not enough to satisfy demand for this challenging issue. An impressive Choice Uncirculated note, very rare in this grade and of importance to Bahamas enthusiasts. This note is offered infrequently in today's market and is surely missing from many advanced collections.
