A LARGE SOUTHEAST ASIAN STONE HEAD OF BUDDHA ON STAND. Finely carved with hair in tight curls over the ushnisha, with serene expression, downcast eyes each with an incised spiral, under a single bow shaped brow and elongated ears. Probably Cambodian or Thai. Mounted on a heavy display stand. Head size 55cm. Total height on stand approx. 127cm.
