CRETE. Rhaukos. Circa 300-270 BC. Stater (Silver, 24 mm, 10.85 g, 2 h). Poseidon, nude, standing right, holding trident in his right hand and holding the reins of a horse, standing right behind him, with his left; on the lower right, obscuring the horse's fore hooves, rock or a curious die break. Some roughness and areas of flat striking, otherwise, very fine.
