Parker Hale 20th century percussion Whitworth .451 rifle, serial number 695, 36inch barrel fitted with ladder sight, secured by three bands, chequered stock, colour cased hardened lock with PH crown stamp, Birmingham proof marks, lacking the percussion nipple, fitted with a leather sling. UK FIREARMS LICENCE WITH .451 VARIATION OR RFD REQUIRED 132cm long The rifle is in good general condition. The bore has some very light dirt residue but is generally good and free from pitting or damage. The action works correctly with a strong spring. The nipple is missing and the screw threads within the nipple channel are corroded. There are some scratches to the metal finish as well as light wear. The stock is free from damage or repair, there are some dents, scratches and light handling marks. The screwheads of the barrel bands are chewed.
