A German 17th century style green glass Humpen, 19th century, pseudo-dated 1625, enamelled in colours with figures in seventeenth century dress including a jester playing an instrument, a friar, and a nude woman caught in a trap, with Germanic script poetry enamelled in white, the rim with decorative enamelled borders, 28.7cm high Provenance: Felix Joubert, 1872-1953, sculptor, and thence by descent.
