Ø55mm, ca. 123g, 18K pink gold, Breguet-type lepine case, finely engine-turned, serial number 8879, case band with a slide for the stop function of the jumping centre seconds, repeater button also of Breguet design, à-goutte case, dome signed D. Bouvier Geneve No.8879, two separate barrels for the movement and the seconde morte, special form ruby cylinder escapement, temperature compensation, quarter repeater on square gongs, engine turned dial, gold Breguet steel hands, gold ratchet key, very well preserved, in working order, Geneva circa 1820. Even though the watch was not made in Breguet's workshops, it is of excellent quality with several features also found on Breguet's watches. Several well-known Geneva watchmakers were inspired by Breguet's masterpieces and adopted many of his details for their watches.
