SAM JOSEPH NTIRO (TANZANIAN, 1923-1993) Felling Trees signed 'S. J. Ntiro' (lower right) oil on canvas 51 x 61cm Provenance Private collection, UK Condition Report Original canvas.  There are flecks of paint loss off the border, upper centre; craquelure to some of the darker pigments and light traces of dirt in the sky.   Ultraviolet reveals no sign of retouching.  Held in a plain wooden frame in fair condition.
