Imperceptible traces and slight loss of brilliance on the right for this very rare specimen in vermeil (golden silver) of splendid appearance. Very beautiful attribution on the reverse side to Mis VISCONTI AJMI/ CHAMBELLAN/ HONORARY. Jacques Visconti-Ajmi, honorary chamberlain of Emperor Napoleon III, was also officer of ordinance of the King of Italy and governor of the castle of Arenenberg.
