1950's Murano Glass and Ebonized Wood Floor Lamp.
This mid-20th century Italian design Antique Art Deco style floor lamp, a creation entirely handcrafted in Italy with an iconic 1920s flared organic shape, is composed of a handmade stem in black lacquer reeded wood, supporting on a stepped brass collar a large bowl like a blooming flower, in white blown Murano glass, attributed to Mazzega, with exquisite craftsmanship. The floor lamp is raised on a white Carrara marble round base, highlighted with the same brass collar as the top. In very good condition, with only a few scuffs on the base. Diameter of base: 14.5??. Weight 53.5 lbs. Rewired for US standards, it is fitted with 1 Edison E26 socket and a floor foot switch. Bulbs are not provided.
