Hungary, Mathias Corvinus (1458-1490), gold Madonna ducat or goldgulden, (3.44 g), Nagybanya mint in c.1481-1487, obv. Madonna seated facing with ruler's name around, rev. St. Ladislaus standing facing his name around, n and axe and hammer in shield either side. (F.11 [p.414], Pohl "Ungarische Goldgulden des Mittelalters" K14 [R208 D-1], Huszar 677). Good very fine and rare in this condition.
