RIC-146; Hendin-6622A. "Judaea Capta" commemorative. Obverse: Laureate bust left; Reverse: Mourning Jewess seated left atop a pile of arms; at right, mourning Jew with hands bound standing leftwards, palm tree between; IVD CAP across fields; S C in exergue. A RARE type which does not surface with any frequency, with this particular specimen being held privately for over 30 years! The strike is bold and impressive, with moderate circulation and a touch of porosity. Impressive and deserved of the full attention of any collector seeking a premium Judaea Capta Sestertius.
