1949 Bentley MK6 Padgett Special Make: Bentley Model: MK6 Padgett Special Year: 1949 Mileage: 78920 VIN: B20FV Configuration: Right Hand Drive Registration: JNX71 Transmission: manual This car started life as a 1949 Bentley MkVI saloon - the 18th example built - but was converted during 1976 and 1977 by Alan Padgett of Padgett Motor Engineers into a two-seater special, with Padgett/Watson two-seater body finished off by the Swallow Coachbuilding Company. Lucas P80 headlamps were fitted and a hood and tonneau cover were made especially. The 4257cc six-cylinder engine was also converted to the later 'Full Flow' type. Over the last 10 years, the Bentley has covered around 220 miles, being dry-stored the rest of the time according to the vendor.
