MI6 sent James Bond (Roger Moore) to the London auction to ascertain the seller of the genuine Faberge egg after a counterfeit egg was discovered in East Berlin. This lot consists of one replica Faberge egg and stand. Made of metal, this replica features a gold-color lattice-work with faux gemstones inlaid in the design, and a surprise gold-color model miniature carriage inside, also decorated with inlaid faux gemstones. This lot exhibits very mild chipping of the gold-color finish and a loose hinge.
