An impressive Russian Honor Saber in early 19th C style, dated 1915, with fine blade etched with Imperial cipher of Tsar Nicholas II, brass lion pommel hilt in steel encased brown buff leather covered scabbard, blade with narrow triple fullers well etched with the Imperial cipher in a panel at forte, blade marked First Astrakhan Cossack Regiment, Zlatoust, spine further etched with Cyrillic letters, blade in fine condition, leather grip wrapped with twisted brass wire, lion head pommel with chain guard, steel encased scabbard in excellent polished condition with brass carrying rings cast with sunbursts; a fine looking saber of good quality, overall 38" long
