A PAIR OF MID-19TH CENTURY RUSSIAN PORCELAIN VASES, POPOV PORCELAIN FACTORY, GORBUNOVO two elaborately moulded mid-19th century blue vases, decorated with floral motifs, nature scenes painted on both sides of each vase, with two curved handles on each side decorated with gilt birds, on spreading foot and a square base with a gilt cartouche framing a bouquet on each side, each vase marked under the base with blue underglaze monogram 'AP' for Alexey Popov Porcelain Factory, Gorbunovo in Cyrillic ; height: 52 cm (20 1/2 in.)
