An excellent French Empire mantel clock made of patinated bronze with gilded accents, decorated with a finely cast bronze sculpture of a young woman wearing an antique dress. Mounted on a rectangular red marble base with an ormolu socle and raised on four feet modeled as turtles. Mid-19th century.
