A NAZI GERMAN 1936 SS POLICE OFFICERS HONOR SWORD

A rare Nazi German police officer's honor sword, the blade is marked by Peter Daniel Krebs, Solingen. Solid nickel hilt fittings screw-type pommel, a separate threaded stepped nut. The grip is made from turned ebony wood with grip segments separated by wrapped nickel wire. Stamped with the intertwined sigrunnen within an octagon to the lower hilt and scabbard throat mounting. The brass Ordnungspolizei emblem is set flush. Dated 1936.
