An Imperial Russian Model 1881/09 dragoon officer's saber

Slightly curved 31 inch single edged blade with shallow central fuller and two deeper fullers below the spine. Engraved and etched above the hilt with the Imperial eagle and the cipher of Tsar Alexander II. Brass hilt molded with florals. Grooved wooden grip. Brass-mounted and leather-covered scabbard.
Condition: Blade showing light scratches and minor spotting. Brass with dark patina, the pommel with some small dents, the Imperial cipher evidently removed. Scabbard leather crazed but very sound.
