An Egyptianesque cold painted bronze group, modelled with a sleeping maiden reclining against a fragmentary pharaonic figural monument, signed G. LEROUX in the maquette to one side and PROPRIETE D'EUG BLOT to the other. A vase element missing at the base, minor wear. Old collector's label to bottom.
Old German private collection, acquired in 1953.

Eine Ägypterin mit Trommel ruht auf einer Pharaonenfigur. Bronze, patiniert und kaltbemalt. Signiert G. LEROUX und Gießerstempel PROPRIETE D'EUG BLOT. Leicht berieben, Fehlstelle am Sockel. Im Boden altes Etikett.
Ehemals aus einer deutschen Privatsammlung, laut altem Etikett "erworben am 29.8.53 Versteigerungshaus J. Schmitt Bad Kissingen Ankauf von Schloß Oberlauingen Franken"
