Parker Hale 20th century percussion Whitworth .451 rifle, serial number 677, 36inch barrel fitted with ladder sight, secured by three bands, chequered stock, colour cased hardened lock with PH crown stamp, Birmingham proof marks, fitted with a 4inch micro adjustable aperture sight. UK FIREARMS LICENCE WITH .451 VARIATION OR RFD REQUIRED 132cm long The gun shows signs of regular use. The bore has four light corrosion / pitting spots around 6 inches from the muzzle, these might improve or clean up with a wire brush as they do not look to heavy/deep. Outside this the bore is bright and shiny. The lock works correctly with a strong spring. The metal finish has some wear to it and is fading on the barrel. The stock has some dents, scratches and marks but it is free from splits or repairs. Some screws show signs of being worked.
