Scots Fusilier Guards Officer's Bearskin Circa 1870. A rare Victorian example of black fur, the interior with leather sweatband and gazetted gilt brass chin chain, with leather backing (Stitching faults). The inside is fully lined with soft brown leather and retains original tailor's paper label of "Cater & Co 56 Pal Mall". Also an ink Scots Fusilier Guards device and Indis H.P.M.. Remains in good condition with a small amount of service and age wear. ... Accompanied by original metal storage tin with brass name plate of "H. Pakenham-Mahon Scots Fusilier Guards".
