A 1937 Coronation Gold Staff OfficerIs Baton, carried by Major William Miller of the Grenadier Guards at the Coronation of His Majesty King George V' at Westminster Abbey on the 12th of May 1937, the gold painted baton with scarlet tips , the top decorated with a GVIR Crowned Cypher and 'Coronation 1937' A 1953 Coronation Gold Staff OfficerIs Baton, carried by Major William Miller of the Grenadier Guards at the Coronation of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth I' at the Abbey church of St. Peter Westminster on the 2nd of June 1953, the gold painted baton with blue tips, the top decorated with EIIR Crowned Cypher and 'Coronation 1953', (2). Major William Eustace Pitt Miller was born on the 6th of October 1903. Educated at Eton, he joined the Grenadier Guards in 1924.
