Charles III gold 8 Escudos 1788 S-C MS62+ NGC, Seville mint, KM409.2a, Cal-2194. Variety with point after "R" at the end of obverse legend. So nearly Choice, with Charles's bust fully defined and crisp on the luminous, buttery-yellow planchet. Some very minor marks in line with the grade, but altogether an exceptional example of this final date and a superb representative of the type.
