THRACE. Chersonesos. Circa 386-338 BC. Hemidrachm (Silver, 13 mm, 2.42 g). Forepart of a lion to right, head turned back to left. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square with two raised and two sunken squares; pellet in one quarter, ivy leaf in another. BMC 13. HGC 3.2, 1437. McClean 4082-3. SNG Copenhagen -. Perfectly centered and with lovely toning, a very attractive piece. Extremely fine.
