A GEORGE III MAHOGANY EIGHT-DAY LONGCASE CLOCK, SIGNED HADWEN, LIVERPOOL , the 14-inch brass break-arch dial with silvered chapter, subsidiary seconds and moon phase, the case with swan neck pediments to the hood and fluted pilasters, the trunk with quarter reeded columns flanking the flame mahogany door, the base with blockwork corners and flowerhead motif to the panel, raised on ogee feet, with two weights and a pendulum. 242cm high CONDITION REPORT Some wear to case, including small loss to middle left side of the panel at the bottom of the case, a split noted to the top right of the front panel and other minor small splits to front edge of case. Dial good with some tarnish.
