With corresponding miniatures. The first group court mounted, the second swing mounted with detached Victory Medal. Together with the pair to his wife. Mid London Gazette 1 1.1916; 4.1.1917; 11.12.1917; 20.5.1918 Lieutenant Colonel The Honourable Maurice Vyner Baliol Brett was born on 24.4.1882 and was the second son of 2nd Viscount Esher. he was educated at Eton and then Rmc Sandhurst where he won the Sword of Honour (1902 he joined the Coldstream Guards in 1902; Captain 1910; he transferred to the 6th Battalion Black Watch in 1911 he served as Adc to Sir John French 1904-12 he served during Ww1 and was Mid four times. he was Secretary to the Garton Foundation, and later was Assistant Keeper and Librarian to the London Museum from 1919 he wrote Maxims of War.
