231970 Triumph TR6Reg. no. CPB 44HChassis no. CP513450Engine no. CP25693HETransmission: ManualMileage: 32,580MOT: ExemptThe TR6 was produced only as a 2-door convertible between 1968-1976. With a front mounted 2.5-litre straight-six engine, it was one of the more powerful, affordable sports cars of its time. The engine was mounted to a four-speed synchromesh gearbox and the body was designed by Karmann of Germany who are well known for designing a number of very pretty German cars in the past. This beautiful TR6 has been garaged in its current local ownership and brought out on weekends for local shows and to run around the Cotswolds. The car received a bare metal respray in 2019 in black and the body remains in very good order. It also received new carpets and a retrim of the seats around this time; the interior is still very well presented and is a pleasure to be in. The only modifications to the car have been to improve its usability which include the head being modified to run on unleaded petrol, electronic ignition and an uprated fuel pump. There is also a built-in handbrake lock for anti-theft purposes. The car runs well and is ready to be used and cherished by its next owner. The car is offered for sale with a current registration document and a large amount of paperwork which includes old MOTs dating back to 1982, backing up the current mileage as well as a whole host of parts and servicing receipts. There is also a photo album showing much of the restoration process.Estimate: £16,000 - 18,000To be auctioned along with a fantastic selection of other vehicles on July 1st at our Showell Farm site, SN15 2NU with viewing on the 29th and 30th of June, you can also join us at our Nostalgia Social cars & coffee event on June 25th.
