Three-part necklace designed as a scarab with outstretched wings mounted with wire filigree and central twisting body (14.0 x 10.8 mm) carved from lapis lazuli with an intaglio depiction of a ball player. Mounted on an 18k gold chain. Chain hallmarked: Fineness 750, maker's marks. Necklace made in the 1970s using a 19th century scarab beetle brooch. Scarab motif 11 cm. Total L 41 cm. Total weight 21.38 g.

14 kt Gelbgold. Dreiteilig, in Form eines geflügelten Skarabäus. Flügel mit feiner Filigrandraht-Belötung, der gebohrte drehbar montierte Korpus (14,0 x 10,8 mm) aus geschnitztem Lapislazuli mit intaglio-Darstellung eines antiken Ballspielers. Montiert in Gliederkette aus 18 kt Gold. Kette gestempelt: Feingehalt 750, MZ. Unter Verwendung einer Skarabäusbrosche des 19. Jh. in den 1970er Jahren zu einem Halsschmuck umgearbeitet. Zierspange 11 cm. L gesamt 41 cm. Gesamtgewicht 21,38 g.
