A Victorian Chiming Table Clock, circa 1870, ebonised and gilt metal mounted case, arch pediment with acorn and urn shaped finials, carrying handles and pierced side sound frets, mask and floral decorated front corners, base with acanthus leaf decorated borders, scroll feet, 7-inch arch brass dial with a silvered Roman numeral chapter ring, arch with three dials for chime/silent, fast/slow, chime on eight bells/Westminster chimes, triple fusee movement with an anchor escapement, quarter chiming on a nest of eight bells or four gongs and striking the hours on another gong, 61cm high Condition report: Case with small scratches and dents in parts, metal mounts are discoloured but have nicely aged and have a good patina, back door metal panel is bent and loose, dial is discoloured in parts, movement is complete but needs cleaning, movement in going order. with pendulum.
