Gentle Prooflike appearances abound this nearly Choice Mint State survivor, dressed in uniform canary gold fields and precluded from a finer designation by scattered wisps. Despite these, the piece faces up especially fine, with each curl of hair and detail to the crowned arms fully embossed upon the golden expanses beneath. Currently tied with the Eliasberg specimen for the finest of this date, which has only come to market five times in the last two decades, this appealing representative is sure to entice the advanced collector of milled British gold.
